Customer Successes

What do our authors do after they're published? They go on the road and sell their books. Their stories are as varied as the books they write.

Jonas Abramson's book, Jonas Jazz, about his life as a street musician, has resulted in talk show interviews and the speaking circuit.

Jane Wood
Jacksonville, Florida
Voices in St. Augustine
-- Jane's first book, Voices in St. Augustine, was inspired by her children and the Florida city they would visit often as they grew up. St. Augustine, the Nation's Oldest City, is rich in history and a haven for ghosts and voices from the past, which Joey, the lead character in the book, discovers. "He couldn't explain it, but every nerve in his body told him something strange was going on here." (Chapter 10)

Jane's book has been an instant success, both in the local tourist shops of St. Augustine and with students and teachers exploring our nation's historical treasures. Jane has found her niche doing school presentations, where she does readings from her book, talks about what it's like to be an author, and discusses the St. Augustine area. Teachers say that this book sparks discussion about American history.

"I have always loved to read and to write, and I really enjoyed the six years that I taught school. I always said that someday I would like to write a book for young people that was fun, but also had some history in it. And so I did!" says Jane. Purchase her book from www.janewoodbooks.com.
